Our three‑day Level 2 Freedive + Spearfishing Fundamentals™ Course expands on your Level 1 skills with advanced freediving techniques and comprehensive spearfishing instruction. This PADI‑accredited program includes free eLearning and hands‑on sessions in Florida’s premier dive locations.

Course Structure
The course spans three key phases:
- Knowledge Development – Advanced training on freediving physiology, equalisation, equipment and spearfishing techniques.
- Confined‑Water Sessions – Two sessions focusing on stretching, relaxation, static/dynamic apnea and rescue drills.
- Open‑Water Sessions – Practice deeper free‑immersion and constant‑weight dives, plus buddy procedures and rescue techniques. Weather permitting, we train offshore; if conditions aren’t suitable, we move to local springs like Hospital Hole, Buford Springs or Hudson Grotto to develop depth and comfort in freshwater environments. A Springs‑Only option is available if you’d rather skip the boat fee.
Course Requirements
You must hold a Level 1 Freediver certification to enrol in Level 2. Boat fees (around $225 per diver) vary by location and cover Day‑3 open‑water training. Opt for Springs‑Only training to avoid boat fees.
Course Schedule
- Day 1: 9 AM–12 PM Classroom; 2 PM–2:30 PM break; 3 PM–5 PM confined‑water session
- Day 2: 9 AM–12 PM Classroom; 2 PM–2:30 PM break; 3 PM–5 PM confined‑water session
- Day 3: 8 AM–4 PM open‑water sessions (offshore or in a local spring)
